Unaludo Sechele was awarded her PhD from the University of the Free State in 2019 for her thesis entitled
Botswana-South Africa Economic Relations: A History, 1966-2014. She also holds a BA from University of Botswana in 2012 and an MA from UFS in 2015. Her master's research was titled
A History of Marriage and Citizenship: Kalanga Women’s Experiences in Post-Colonial Botswana Until 2005. Unaludo’s research interests include gender studies, specifically the various histories of women in Botswana.
