Victor Gwande profile
Victor is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow, working towards his first monograph entitled 'Interest Group Politics and the State: The Political Economy of Manufacturing in Colonial Zimbabwe, 1890–1979', which examines both the actions of the industrialists, other economic interest groups and the state in pushing the trajectory of industrialization in colonial Zimbabwe.

He also holds a BA (Hons) Economic History from the University of Zimbabwe (2010) and an MA Africa Studies (with a Distinction) from the University of the Free State (2015). His research interests are in business and economic history, Southern African history, youth, politics, governance and democracy issues. He also has a personal interest in trade-union movements and labour relations and has published in regional and international journals.
