This year the explosive performances by students at the third Thinking Stone Live Performance session included a duet by Ipeleng Mafora and Carmil Lesaoana, both first-year students studying BSocSc. Ipeleng and Carmil said: “We could not think of any other way to celebrate Human Rights either, than by showcasing our singing talent in front of a multi-cultured Kovsies audience."

Mpumi Nkosi, a volunteer at the UFS Arts and Culture office, led by Tonderai Chiyindiko, said, "This is an opportunity for students to use the platform created for such events to interact with each other, especially with a theme on human rights."

"This kind of event that embrace the work of the Human Project, will continue to be there where students can express themselves using arts and culture," added Refiloe Zim, one of the event organisers.
