Welcome to HELTASA 2014
One of the key challenges facing higher education is to enable students who gain access to achieve success. In addition to increasing success rates, higher education is being challenged to deliver better quality graduates with attributes that can meet the challenges of the 21st century. In a year where South Africa is celebrating 20 years of democracy, we should look for evidence of our achievements and reflect on where enhancement is needed in teaching and learning that can help students to access success in the following areas:

- Innovative use of technology in teaching and learning
