Carmine Nieman is both a registered Industrial Psychologist and a Psychological Counsellor. After completing her master`s in industrial psychology, cum laude, Carmine joined the University of the Free State in 2015, where she was appointed as a counsellor, and she started her journey in 2019 as an OD and employee well-being specialist within HR. She joined the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of the Free State as a lecturer in 2021. Carmine teaches Employee Well-Being, Introduction to Psychometrics, and Psychological Assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Carmine has experience in higher education and the corporate sector, where she consults primarily in the Free-State area. Carmine is completing her PhD at the University of the Free State, focusing on developing a multi-generational total rewards scale to improve employee well-being. She is passionate about understanding and elevating people and their potential.
