COMMERCIO Student Association

The Commercio Student Association was brought into being by the Faculty of Economic and Management Science to represent the students in the faculty, and within the context of this vision our association would like to bridge the gap between the faculty’s personnel and the students to ensure the faculty moves forward as a whole.

It is this association’s goal to serve the students in the faculty by providing support and to be a guide through their years of study at the UFS. We also want to serve as a link between faculty management, lecturers, and students to establish a channel of communication as well as a healthy academic environment. The association also wants to bridge the gap between not only the different courses within the faculty but also the English and Afrikaans classes to establish a feeling of unity and pride in the faculty and build connections between individuals who are entering the world of business.

“Our vision is to serve the faculty by promoting excellence and creating a sense of belonging and mutual fellowship among Economic and Management Faculty students.”
