Jana is a passionate and innovative chartered accountant, who has been lecturing Auditing for over 20 years at the University of the Free State. She is currently the subject head of Auditing and Corporate Governance. Her Masters in Higher education studies equips her to constantly improve her students’ learning experience by effectively integrating teaching methodology with innovative technologies. As acknowledgement, Jana has received various Teaching and Learning awards and has been invited to share her skills across the country. She is the developer of the Audit Cube, an inventive teaching and learning tool. She has developed and presented an assortment of presentations covering topics such as study techniques, presentations skills and the effective use of technology. Jana is actively involved in the CA profession and serves on SAICA`s Assurance Guidance Committee. She believes in serving the community. Jana enjoys learning new skills, running and cycling. She is happily married and is the mother of two wonderful children.
