Graduates with this qualification can apply for positions within any human resources department at public and private organisations, and/or recruitment and selection agencies. An honours degree in Industrial Psychology may lead to registration at the SA Board for People Practices as a Chartered HR practitioner, while a Masters of Industrial Psychology may lead to registration at the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) as an Industrial Psychologist or to registration at the SA Board for People Practices as a Master HR Practitioner.
