    Universities South Africa (USAf)

All international undergraduate applicants are required to apply for a matriculation exemption through Universities South Africa (USAf). It is the applicant’s responsibility to complete this process. Ideally, the exemption should be obtained before applying to the University of the Free State. However, under exceptional circumstances, exceptions may be granted in line with UFS regulations. The exemption letter from USAf must be submitted prior to registration.
