Please ensure that your application reaches the University before the closing date. Failure to submit the required documents below will result in a delay in processing your application:

• Completed and signed application form (as instructed).
• Certified copies of relevant academic results/transcripts/information in English.
• Certified copy of passport.
• USAf certificate.
  

Note: Undergraduate applicants that are in possession of 'international' school-leaving results are required to apply for matriculation exemption.

Universities South Africa (USAf)
All foreign undergraduate applicants must apply for matriculation exemption through Universities South Africa. The application process is the responsibility of the applicant. Generally, the process should be complete before applying to the University of the Free State. In exceptional circumstances, exceptions are possible in accordance with the UFS rules. The latest, the letter of exemption from USAf must be submitted prior to registration.
