Dr Calvin Mudzingiri
Area of expertise: Behavioural economics, development economics, institutional economics, monetary policy, fiscal policy, international economics, financial literacy, and personal finance
Faculty/Department: Department of Economics and Finance
Dr Calvin Mudzingiri is a senior lecturer in economics in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences on the University of the Free State Qwaqwa Campus. He holds a PhD in economics and is an NRF C2-rated researcher. His work focuses on behavioural and applied microeconomics, with interests in development, institutional quality, and policy. He contributes to curriculum development and supervises postgraduate students. His current research examines behavioural drivers of economic decision-making and their implications for policy and development. He lectures on international economics, development economics, personal finance, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.
