Dr Gcina Mtengwane
Area of expertise: The sociology of youth, youth transitions, youth unemployment, social and economic issues, rural development, electoral processes, former homelands
Faculty/Department: Centre for Gender and Africa Studies
Dr Gcina Mtengwane is a lecturer in Community Development within the Centre for Gender and Africa Studies. He holds a PhD in Sociology, a Master of Arts in Social Development, and a Bachelor of Social Work. His research interests include (but are not limited to) youth socio-economic transitions, social exclusions, youth unemployment/underemployment, and social policy.
