Prof Theodore Petrus
Area of expertise: Engaged anthropology, gang culture and gang violence and crime
Faculty/Department: Faculty of the Humanities, Anthropology

 

Prof Theodore Petrus is an associate professor of Anthropology and is also an academic and business coach. He specialises in research on gang culture and gang violence, witchcraft-related crime and the occult, African demonology and spirit possession, and Coloured identity dynamics. He is does academic success coaching for master’s and PhD candidates – specifically in social sciences and the humanities, academic career coaching for junior and senior academic staff in social sciences and the humanities, executive and management coaching for university executive leadership and managers.
