Abraham Fischer – Per Ardua ad Honesta, 'Through Diligence to Glory'
Abraham Fischer, or Vishuis as it is known, was the first residence community on the Kovsie Campus, with a richness in history and traditions. Vishuis has always been part of the rhythm of Kovsie student life, and we therefore value our rootedness, as it allows us to create a welcoming space for each new student to belong and to be inspired. Our 122 students form a brotherhood that inspires each other to achieve excellence.
The Vishuis Residence Community strives for excellence in all facets of student life, including academics, sport, and culture. Here you will find your niche, as we know how important it is for each student to live out his unique identity. This allows you to add character and strength to our shared identity as a residence community. At Vishuis, we are a team, working together to bring forth the best in each other, inspiring excellence. This is reflected in our motto 'Per Ardua ad Honesta'," which means 'Through Diligence to Glory'.
