Postal Division
The task of the Postal Division at the UFS is similar to a public post office
(except that this division does not operate with cash/stamps), with the following functions:
- Daily collection of postal articles at certain points on campus as agreed upon.
- Receiving of postal articles from divisions/faculties.
- Stamping and dispatching of official outgoing mail.
- Sorting of postal articles.
- Taking of postal articles to the Post Office.
- Collection of the University postal articles from the Post Office.
- Distribution of postal articles to divisions as agreed upon.
- Keeping the staff directory up to date in view of effective postal delivery.

Documentation
Responsibilities:
- Archiving (electronically and manually) of documents, among which includes student files.
- Cataloging and retrieval of documents and facilitation thereof if stored outside the UFS.
- Administration of postal articles addressed to the Registrar: Student Academic Services and related to the payment of fees.
- Collaboration regarding the digitising of documentation.
