The Aids Unit of the University of the Free State (UFS) held an HIV/Aids Candlelight Memorial Service on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein in remembrance of those who live with the disease and those who have died from it. The theme for the day was "Stop HIV and Aids. Never give up”. Lighting candles in remembrance of those affected and infected by Aids, were Bonolo Phatlane, first-year B.Admin. student (left), and Prof. Teuns Verschoor, Acting Rector of the UFS.
