The design and development of the Curriculum Renewal Programme was an extensive process that involved understanding institutional challenges and needs pertaining to curriculum design. It also necessitated benchmarking and inputs from international experts from the University of Virginia. During the pilot implementation of the programme in 2021, an extensive mixed method evaluation was followed, and recommendations from participants were used to improve the programme before further institutional roll-out.
