I am a Lecturer at the University of the Free State (UFS).

I completed my M.Com (Business Management) in 2014 and graduated in 2015.

Masters study title: The management of trade credit in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South Africa.

Currently I am enrolled for my Ph.D. in Financial Management.

My teaching and learning skills comprise:

Teaching and lecturing of students at undergraduate (tertiary) level in the following Business Management modules:

Corporate Financial Management, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Strategic Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Functions, Fundamental Business Activities and General Management.

Lecture in both English (primary language) and Afrikaans.

I am a dedicated, qualified and involving young academic that possess the needed qualifications along with teaching and learning (lecturing) experience. I am a committed researcher and will continue to excel in my research to the excellence of the University or academic institution that I am working for. I find a perfect balance between my teaching and learning responsibilities and the continual responsibility of research. Research, for myself, is not a responsibility but a routine part of my work that I love doing and feel comfortable in doing. I am currently completing my Ph.D. (Financial Management) degree and enjoy every moment as my research also forms part of my personality and personal research profile. Also, I place high emphasis on my teaching and learning responsibilities and will continue to empower the young minds of South Africa not just to graduate but also to become leaders for their community and ultimately our country. I know that the academic environment is the environment in which I as an individual can make a substantial difference and therefore I will continue to strive towards excellence in my own academic career.
