Postgraduate Qualifications

With a postgraduate qualification in Business Management you can enter the labour market as a specialist in marketing (honours in Marketing) or be able to turn creative and innovative ideas into business opportunities as an entrepreneur (honours in Business Management). This qualification will enable you to start a small business or work as an entrepreneur in a large organisation.

Honours

Application form for prospective honours students:


Master's

All prospective students should contact the head of the department, Prof Neneh Brownhilder, and inform her of their intention to enrol for this degree. You will receive a letter containing all the information needed for your proposal.

Doctoral

The following requirements are applicable to students applying for a doctoral (PhD) degree in Business Management.

  • Have a master's (MCom) degree or equivalent from other universities. (MBA dissertations are NOT acceptable).
  • An average of 60% obtained for the master's dissertation.
  • An English Writing Proficiency test is compulsory for all prospective students.
