A Family Math and Family Science coordinator is a person who can be seen as a link between the official Family Math and Family Science site at Science-for-the-Future, University of the Free State, and the local community.
In order to qualify as a coordinator, an interested individual must obtain a certificate as a Family Math and Family Science facilitator and engage into an agreement with Science-for-the-Future.
The main duties of a coordinator are:
- Identifying and training of teaching volunteers
- Coordinating of roll-out programme
- Ordering and allocating of workshop material
- Submitting of quarterly site report
