I am a trained senior medical Technologist with a National Diploma in Virology. Following my apprenticeship at the NHLS I joined the NHLS, Virology where after I joined the NCL in 2010. I have over 30 years experience in a Diagnostic Virology laboratory. I am currently responsible for quality control tests of live viral vaccines and I am also responsible for the optimisation, validation and implementation of new assays.
