What is Nuclear Medicine?

Nuclear Medicine involves the diagnostic, and to a certain degree, the therapeutic use of unsealed sources of radio-activity in the living human being. It offers a practical application of the medical-physiological, pathological and anatomical knowledge of the physician.

The present department is distinguished in its effort to bring the theory and the practice together. The field of study is practiced clinically and imaging studies are executed with optimal physician involvement.
