Representatives of the respective ex officio portfolios of the Student Representative Council (SRC) have elected among themselves a Transitional Student Council (TSC) for the Bloemfontein Campus until elections for a Student Representative Council (SRC) can be held in early March 2017.

The TSC will be in office as from 1 January 2017, as the term of the current 2015/2016 SRC ends on 31 December 2016.

The following representatives were elected as members of the TSC executive:

Deputy Chair: Mr Gert Jan van der Walt

Treasurer: Ms Gontse Choane

Secretary: Ms Mpoi Makhetha

Deputy Secretary: Mr Takudzwa Nyamunda
