“Sometimes we give up, not realising how close we are from achieving something.” With these words, final-year Communication Science student, Thabang Moselane, constantly works towards his dreams.
Tune in for A Touch of Thabang Thabang, who many of you may also know as Abuti Voice, started out his radio career in 2015 at Kovsie FM, but after a shot of Red Bull, he grew a pair of wings and now has his own show on OFM. His current show, A Touch of Thabang, is a fresh, intimate, fun, interactive, and informative show which airs from Sunday to Thursday between 22:00 and 01:00.
Stepping stone for career
Joining a commercial radio station has not only impacted him as an individual, but also his career. “I see this as a stepping stone for my career. It has given me the platform to inspire confidence in the youth and my peers, and to help them realise that nothing in this world is impossible,” he says. How to become the best version of yourself according to Thabang? “Don’t sleep on yourself, be patient and always remember that change is constant, but growth is optional.”
