Short CV

Lezelle Jacobs is a lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law. She lectures various Mercantile law modules. Her main focus is however on Company and Insolvency Law.

She obtained her LL.B degree (summa cum laude) at the University of the Free State.

After her studies she completed her articles with the firm Hill, Mchardy and Herbst Inc. and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

In 2012 she obtained her LLM degree in Mercantile Law with the title: "`n Regsvergelykende analise van geregtelike bestuur en ondernemingsredding ingevolge relevante maatskappywetgewing . "

In 2015 she obtained her LLD degree in Mercantile Law with a thesis titled: " Die vertrouensverpligtinge van ondernemingsreddingspraktisyns: `n Regsvergelykende studie."
