Explore the Library

The Library and Information Services , in its pursuit to collaborate and partner with academics regarding teaching and learning, decided to reward students who produce best assignments. The purpose is to foster academic excellence, where students are encouraged to produce academic work of high quality and standard, thereby creating a fertile ground for undergraduate research output.

The rationale behind this project was for the library to contribute towards the scholarly output of undergraduate students and motivate them to put more effort into assignments.
This initiative aims to assist students in their transition to postgraduate studies. The Faculty Librarians have played an integral part in the inception of this programme. The Best Assignment Awards were held on the 23 May 2022. This event was attended by the Deputy Vice Rector: Prof Witthuhn, Deans, and Academics.
