ULFE Bursary
The Unit for Language Facilitation and Empowerment has two bursaries available to the value of R50 000 each for full-time master's or doctoral studies.
Requirements: Honours in a language-related field. The theme of the study must fall within the research fields of the ULFE.
A study within, among others, the following research fields will be considered:
- the development of language policy in South Africa
- language legislation and language rights
- language visibility and linguistic landscape
- toponymy and language authenticity
- language and cultural heritage
The bursary is linked to a 20-hour-per-week internship.
