The Role of MIR


MIR directorate is responsible for the creation of an evidence-based environment for monitoring institutional performance and informing strategic direction. This involves research about the institution as a whole as well as students and staff.

 

What We Do


Running Surveys

Running surveys, including the UFS Graduate Exit Survey, Graduate Destination Survey, Employer Satisfaction Survey, and Institutional Culture/Climate Survey.

Ad Hoc Institutional Research

Ad hoc institutional research projects in areas that are of strategic significance to the UFS.

Institutional Performance Monitoring

Institutional performance monitoring and reporting to UFS management, Council, and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), including the UFS Annual Report.

Strategic Planning Support

Strategic planning support, including the development of the UFS institutional strategy and Annual Performance Plans submitted to the DHET.
