Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Convocation of the University of the Free State (UFS) to deal with the following matters:

- Election of the President and Vice-President of the Convocation.
- Address by the elected President.
- Representatives of the Convocation on the Executive Committee of the Convocation.
- Vote of thanks by the Vice-President.

Pensioners attend function at UFS

Pensioners of the University of the Free State (UFS) were treated to lunch at the Centenary Complex in Bloemfontein recently. About 200 people attended the function where Prof. Jonathan Jansen, Rector and Vice-Chancellor, was the guest speaker. Some of the people who attended the function are, from the left: Mrs Elsa Krantz, Mrs Jean Smith, and Mrs Loi Borman.
