Jongerenprojek in Nederland!

Elizna Henderson is a third-year student in the Afrikaans and Dutch, German and French department. In 2024, she completed the Dutch course, AFNK2724, and in 2025, participated in the CNaVT (international Dutch exam) in Bloemfontein. This prepared her excellently for the experience of being part of the 'Jongerprojek' in the Netherlands.

She writes: “The 'Jongerenprojek' is honestly an experience that I will never – with all the words of all the languages at my disposal – be able to describe. It’s something that never really escapes that gap in your heart because the experiences and the people cling to your soul. But while the sights and activities offer you the world’s insights and excitement, it is the people and the memories you’ve made outside the daily program that touch your heartstrings in a way you cannot describe.”
