The BAcc Degree Programme is for students who want to qualify as Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)). Chartered Accountants render services not only as accountants but also as taxation, financial, management, and auditing experts. This is a sought-after career for both the corporate and the public sectors.
The BComAcc degree is fully accredited by SAIPA and AGA(SA), and no postgraduate studies are required to continue with the process to qualify as a Professional Accountant (SA) or an Associate General Accountant (SA). The BCom (Accounting) also has partial accreditation by CIMA and ACCA. Those who wish to pursue a career in financial management in the private sector will also benefit from the BCom Acc programme.
