Lab rules

These spaces are accessed and used by many students – to make it a comfortable experience for all, please keep to these rules:
  • Computers are for academic use ONLY. Use your own data and devices for online entertainment, please. Watching pornography is a serious offence.
  • Please make sure your cellphone is switched off.
  • Only one person allowed per computer.
  • Only UFS students are allowed to use the computer labs.
  • No eating or drinking allowed. This is what the Thakaneng Bridge is for… just a few steps east.
  • Shhhhjjjjjj … the lab is a quiet space. There are plenty of spaces on campus for being loud – the labs are not one of those.
  • The lab assistant oversees the space, and you must do has he/she asks.
  • If you break these rules, you’re going to have to think about that long and hard – outside the lab! Offenders will be banned from the labs.

Please read the lab rules here, and make sure you remember what not to do.
