Brief Bio

Colin Chasi is a professor of communication and media studies. He is a champion of social justice, ethics and institutional change processes. His role at the Unit for Institutional Change and Social Justice is to strategically drive cultural change to among other things promote inclusion, anti-discrimination practices, and gender equity.

Chasi has published several dozens of journal articles and chapters in books. His publications include several monographs and edited books. He continues to publish extensively. His latest book is Ubuntu for Warriors. Read More

Brief Bio

Lentsu Nchabeleng, is the Deputy Director of the Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Office within the Unit for Institutional Change and Social Justice at the University of the Free State.

She is primarily interested in feminist strategies to end gender-based violence, social and public policy analysis and queering feminist approaches to address homophobia and gender discrimination. She has worked with grassroots organisations in Eastern Cape, Limpopo and the KwaZulu-Natal province to promote social justice through quality health and gender-inclusive programmes.
