The Qwaqwa Campus of the University of the Free State (UFS) is increasingly becoming a campus of choice due to its remarkable academic profile. This is the view of first-year students Mbali Mbhele and Mosikili Mabuse, who attended the colourful first-year welcoming ceremony on 24 January 2017.
“My decision to enrol here was informed by what we generally heard about the campus. I know for a fact that academics are a priority here and that students are generally well-behaved,” said Mbali, a Bachelor of Arts (English and Geography) student.
Adding to her sentiments was Mosikili, a Bachelor of Education (Life Sciences and English) student, who said that it was not a difficult decision to study at the Qwaqwa Campus.
“Most of my family members studied here and I am aware of the kind of leaders this campus has produced due to its remarkable academic profile,” he said.
Mbali and Mosikili are from Newcastle and Bethlehem respectively.
