The Disability Rights Unit is deeply committed to advancing disability inclusion through meaningful and sustained community engagement. As a university-based initiative, the unit recognises the responsibility of leveraging academic resources and expertise to serve the broader community and promote social justice for persons with disabilities.

The Unit actively collaborates with the UFS Law Clinic in delivering outreach and empowerment initiatives. This partnership enables us to provide accessible legal information, community-based workshops, and targeted support to individuals and groups whose rights are often overlooked or misunderstood.
