Laetitia Fourie

Acting Coordinator

Laetitia Fourie is the Programme Director of the Centre for Labour Law at the University of the Free State where she manages the delivery of various short learning programmes in Labour and Commercial law. In addition to her managerial role, she is a lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law, University of the Free State, teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including Labour Law, Consumer Protection, and Credit Law. Laetitia holds an LLB degree (Cum Laude), an LLM in Mercantile Law with specialisation in Labour Law, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, all from the University of the Free State. She is an admitted attorney of the Free State High Court of South Africa and is currently pursuing her PhD at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her doctoral research focuses on the protection of employees with disabilities in the workplace. 
 
 
Quin

Quinter Onyango 

Marketing and Communications 

Quinter Onyango is an internationalisation and communications specialist with over 12 years of experience in higher education. She currently serves as Senior Officer: Marketing, Communications, and Internationalisation at the University of the Free State, Faculty of Law. Quinter holds a Master’s, Honours, and Bachelor’s (Cum Laude) in Communication from the University of Fort Hare and is pursuing a PhD in Human Rights. She previously held strategic roles at the University of Fort Hare, focusing on international partnerships, student mobility, alumni relations, and global engagement. Quinter has led multiple high-impact marketing and communication projects, including drafting internationalisation strategies, digital advising tools, alumni campaigns, and academic events showcasing her strength in strategic communication and brand positioning.

She has presented at leading international conferences and contributed to global education initiatives. With a strong foundation in communication, cross-cultural fluency, and a deep commitment to inclusive education and social justice, she brings creativity, strategic vision, and global insight to higher education collaboration and innovation.
 
 
Coreen

Coreen Jooste  

Finance 

Born in Kimberley and raised in Bloemfontein, Coreen Jooste has built a fulfilling personal and professional life grounded in purpose and service. For the past 24 years, she has proudly served at the University of the Free State, guided by a commitment to excellence, integrity, and community. Holding a B.Com and an Honours degree (cum laude) in Integrated Marketing and Communications, Coreen brings both academic depth and practical insight to every role she undertakes. She currently oversees the financial administration of the Disability Rights Unit, ensuring sound budget management and operational support for its various programmes and events.
