Access your Digital Library

How to access electronic resources

  1. Navigate to the web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.) and type in https://ufs.libguides.com/az.php.
  2. Click on your desired Database.
  3. Click the “Click here” link as shown below.

  4. Sign in using your UFS email (Example: studentnumber@ufs.ac.za)Login2
  5. Enter your Blackboard password and click Sign in. Login3
  6. Once logged in, you’ll be redirected to the database page.

How to access KovsieCat

  1. Navigate to the web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.) and type in  https://www.ufs.ac.za/primove.
  2. Click on Sign in as shown below.

  3. Follow the Microsoft login steps (Step 4 and Step 5 above).
  4. You can now search the Library Catalogue and access other resources.
