The fourth and final wave of life history interviews took place between April and May 2020 (via telephone due to COVID-19 restrictions). The interviews focused on what the students had learnt, what they had found most challenging, and what they had come to value most about being at university, as well as their plans for the future. An update on their current status i.e. whether they had graduated and were studying further, or seeking employment or already employed was gathered in May 2021 via WhatsApp correspondence.
