Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement to register is a qualification on NQF level 7. (General three-year university degree and universities of technology national diploma)

Applicants who do not meet this minimum requirement can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Application

Please send the following documents to the office before 30 September.

  • Completed University Application Form
  • Completed DiMTEC Application Form
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copy of ID/Passport
  • Certified copies of certificates, qualifications, and study records
  • Proof of payment
  • Four ID/passport photos
  • Motivational letter (Letter motivating why you should be selected as a DiMTEC student, about 350 words.)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning.

IMPORTANT: RPL applications are managed by the RPL office, and not by DiMTEC. All RPL enquiries should be sent to the Regional RPL Office.

Persons applying for RPL should also submit the DiMTEC APPLICATION FORM to the DiMTEC office as soon as possible. It is the responsibility of the applicant to inform DiMTEC of the RPL application outcome.
