Research ethics training forms the foundation of responsible scholarship and scientific excellence. This video series offers clear, practical guidance on the core principles that shape ethical research conduct. Grounded in both national regulations and international frameworks, the training covers key areas such as research and data integrity, the identification and management of research misconduct, and the ethical norms and principles – including respect, fairness, and accountability – that underpin compliance and responsible research practice.

Please note that an assessment must be completed based on the videos below. This training is mandatory for everyone applying for ethical approval.

After working through the Ethics in Research training materials and reviewing the supporting documentation, you are invited to complete the assessment. This assessment helps confirm your understanding of the core ethical principles, researcher responsibilities, and procedures that guide ethical conduct in research.
