Welcome to the website of INORG2009, the biennial Conference of the South African Chemical Institute (SACI), focusing on INORGANIC Chemistry. It was presented in conjunction with the Royal Society of Chemistry: Dalton Division, see below. A hearty Free State and Kovsie "THANK YOU" for helping to make INORG2009 a success!!

INORG2009 was hosted by the Dept of Chemistry of the University of the Free State (UFS), on the UFS Campus in Bloemfontein, South Africa, from Sun 13th to Thu 17th Sept 2009.

It was sponsored by a number of organisations and companies, click here for detail. These sponsorships are greatfully acknowledged.

It was primarily sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry: Dalton Division, who provided support for a significant contingent of speakers from Europe and elsewhere.

Specific focus areas of INORG2009 were on pure and applied aspects of INORGANIC Chemistry with Industrial (e.g. Homogeneous Catalysis, Separation technology, Hydrogen storage, etc), Bio-Inorganic and Medical and Environmental relevance.
