Join Commercio and the UFS: Office Student Ideas at our business start-up and planning workshops:

• See new entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas
• Listen to great presenters and experienced entrepreneurs
• Network with like-minded people
• Get your idea ready to compete in business plan and pitch competitions

Last semester, 10 UFS students won seed funding from the International Labour Organisation in the EnterPRIZE Job Challenge to start their new business ventures. They have been accepted into the Garage (IdeaStart Student Venture Accelerator) where they share office space, work on their ideas, and develop their businesses.

How do I get in 'The Garage'?
You don’t need to be a Business student; all you need is a good idea.

• Attend the open workshops (Gain some great knowledge!)
• Mail your idea to idea@ufs.ac.za. (Describe your idea in 250 words or less)
• Win some seed funding or get accepted into The Garage by the Office: Student Ideas
