Succession Management is the process of identifying the critical positions within the University of the Free State and developing action plans for individuals to assume those positions.

Before a UFS employee leaves the University, an exit interview as well as questionnaire is conducted to gain a sense and understanding of what the UFS can improve upon to retain its top talent.
