Succession

Succession Management is the process of identifying the critical positions within the University of the Free State and developing action plans for individuals to assume those positions.

Exit Interviews

Before a UFS employee leaves the University, an exit interview as well as questionnaire is conducted to gain a sense and understanding of what the UFS can improve upon to retain its top talent.

OD Interventions

Various Organisational Development Interventions are presented to UFS employees and teams. These interventions ensure efficiency and success within the workplace.

Individual Development Plans (IDP) 

The primary purpose of an Individual development plan is to help employees reach short and long-term career goals, develop key competencies, and fulfill the vision and objectives of the department through competency-based assessments.
