The University of the Free State (UFS) has put measures in place to reintegrate staff and students on campus in a phased approach from 1 June 2020. These steps are in line with the announcement of Dr Blade Nzimande (Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation) on 23 May 2020 regarding the implementation of initiatives by the post-school education sector in response to the COVID-19 pandemic under Level 3 of the national lockdown.

A fast guide has been compiled to provide students with guidelines on the implementation of these measures. The guide will be updated as the lockdown levels change.

Pease note that you will be notified by your faculty if you are expected to return to campus.
