The University of the Free State’s Student Representative Council (SRC) elections took place on the Bloemfontein,
Qwaqwa, and
South campuses during August.
The following candidates were successfully elected as 2019/2020 SRC members on our three respective campuses.

Venues for exam studies
Due to construction work at the UFS Sasol Library the following venues were made available to students for the purpose of studying for their exams.
1. FGG 167, 168, 169 and 170 (theatre style venues). FGG 361 and 362 (level-floor venues with tables and chairs) in the same building are also available for students who prefer such a venue. These venues are available as study venues to students for the entire duration of the exam 24/7 during the week and over weekends.
2. EBW G4 in the new Economic and Management Sciences Building (a level floor venue with tables and chairs and a capacity of 64) is also available. This venue is available for two weeks only: 24 October 2012 until 9 November 2012.
3. Students may continue to use the UFS Sasol Library, however please note that there will be noise due to the construction work.
