The University of the Free State’s Student Representative Council (SRC) elections took place on the Bloemfontein,
Qwaqwa, and
South campuses during August.
The following candidates were successfully elected as 2019/2020 SRC members on our three respective campuses.

Writing workshop for middle managers presented by Prof Jonathan Jansen on 22 April 2013

A workshop for university middle managers and administrators on how to write effectively for internal (eg. students) and external (eg. parents, government) audiences, will be presented by Prof Jonathan Jansen, Vice-Chancellor and Rector. Topics include written communication with difficult clients and how to write for political audiences. A ‘case study’ approach that requires colleagues to do active writing in the workshop, will be used. Workshop participants must bring their own laptops.
