The 2019 Student Affairs Week Survey (SAWS) is a short questionnaire which aims to gauge your experience of Student Affairs on several levels.

This includes your awareness and perceived relevance of various Student Affairs divisions as well as your participation in the programmes offered by Student Affairs. We would also like your input on preferred communication platforms, co-curricular programmes and safety and security on campus.

Furthermore, we value your feedback and trust that you will provide us with some comments and recommendations.

Here is the top student in the Thuthuka group, Thembi Kganane (middle) with Mr Div Lamprecht (SAICA), and Prof. Hentie van Wyk, Programme Director: Centre for Accounting.

The top 10 function is an award ceremony where the top students in the Centre for Accounting are acknowledged for their hard work and commitment throughout the years. Sponsors from the practice are involved and attend the function every year. FNB and the Auditor-General were the main sponsors.

The first ten students in the B Accounting and the B Accounting Honours class received prizes. The prize winners were Richard Yang (third place), A Nieuwenhuizen (second place) and Megan Aquadro (first place).

The function was attended by the students and their parents.
