Students Affairs wants to hear your voice

The 2019 Student Affairs Week Survey (SAWS) is a short questionnaire which aims to gauge your experience of Student Affairs on several levels.

This includes your awareness and perceived relevance of various Student Affairs divisions as well as your participation in the programmes offered by Student Affairs. We would also like your input on preferred communication platforms, co-curricular programmes and safety and security on campus.

Furthermore, we value your feedback and trust that you will provide us with some comments and recommendations.

Grow our own Timber programme presented their research

Fellows of the University of the Free State's (UFS) Grow our own Timber programme recently presented their research to the programme management, other fellows and guests. Seven (7) Ph D-students and nine (9) masters degree students took part in the presentation.

The Grow our own Timber programme is a programme of the UFS aimed at training young black graduates for a career at the university. The programme is supported by among others the Andrew Mellon Foundation Scholarship and the Atlantic Philanthropies Foundation.
