The 2019 Student Affairs Week Survey (SAWS) is a short questionnaire which aims to gauge your experience of Student Affairs on several levels.
This includes your awareness and perceived relevance of various Student Affairs divisions as well as your participation in the programmes offered by Student Affairs. We would also like your input on preferred communication platforms, co-curricular programmes and safety and security on campus.
Furthermore, we value your feedback and trust that you will provide us with some comments and recommendations.

Regional forum of the Council on Higher Education

Representatives from the University of the Free State (UFS), the Central University of Technology and the Free State Higher Education Consortium attended the regional forum of the Council on Higher Education (CHO) on the Main Campus. The topic was government's involvement in higher education, institutional autonomy and academic freedom. The event was part of an investigation of a task team of the RHO into this topic.

Attending the forum were from the left Ms Ashley Symes (researcher from the CHO), Dr Adam Habib, (speaker) and Dr Maboreng Maharasoa (speaker).
