The University of the Free State (UFS) will be presenting the 2nd UFS Thought-Leader Series in cooperation with Vrye Weekblad as part of the Vrystaat Arts Festival.

| The International Advisory Council (IAC), chaired by Prof Joel Samoff, Stanford University, USA concluded its four-day meeting during the past week. The IAC advises the leadership of the University of the Free State (UFS) on its future positioning strategies, especially in relation to its international ambitions as a place of scholarship and service among the leading universities in the world. |
