The University of the Free State (UFS) will be presenting the 2nd UFS Thought-Leader Series in cooperation with Vrye Weekblad as part of the Vrystaat Arts Festival.

Dean to serve on ministerial committee

Prof Herman van Schalkwyk, Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS) has recently been elected by the Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs, Me Thoko Didiza, to serve on the ministerial committee to review the South African agricultural marketing environment.
* Prof van Schalkwyk was also recently appointed as vice-chairperson of the board of directors of the Matjhabeng Municipality's Marketing and Investment Company (MMIC).
